Percy Jackson

Percy Jackson and The Sea of Monsters

I enjoyed watching the second installment as it included an action-packed scenes and the humor as portrayed in the book that Rick Riordan had written. It was fun reading Riordan’s Percy Jackson series, so I was curious how it would turn out in the movie, as the first movie proved quite disappointing. This time, I was instantly hooked to finish the whole movie. It showed how a person can will himself to write his own destiny and not be tied up by the prophecy. It is a burden both to think that you have the capacity to either save or destroy the whole world. A hero is willing to accept defeat and give up recognition for the sake of other people. He continues to fight for the people he loves. He struggles with identity and the society he dwells in but he emerges whole despite the adversities.
