“He’s making a list, he’s checking it twice, gotta find out who’s naughty or nice…”
I read on our school paper a section where the reporters interviewed students about their experiences on Santa, of when they found out who Santa is. Someone said that she found the list on her dad’s bag, someone saw his mother putting gifts on the sock hanged on the tree. Another wondered how come their parents let a stranger come in just to drop some things. Someone didn’t have a Santa experience and said that it’s a sad truth. We didn’t have that too. We did know about Santa’s story but we didn’t undergo that whole Santa thing. Whereas, my professors would relate their own stories on how their children make their list for Santa. Also, how Santa was revealed to their older children. It’s quite a lot of effort that parents go through to let their kids experience having Santa bring the gifts they wish to have, from having that list and putting the gifts in a way that they won’t find out.
Somehow the Christmas breeze swings by in the morning, savor it and be thankful of the chance to breath it.
