We visit the stores in the mall and find an extended offer of their promo or sale items. So we do our last minute Christmas shopping, and get another chance to grab some products with marked-down prices. We give in to the requests of people even when we just want to surrender or stay away. We do something wrong, but is forgiven even though how stubborn we could be sometimes. We meet people who might be difficult to deal with but we give them the chance to start anew. We might not agree to their ways, but we reach out to them without thinking why we should do so, but because we naturally fall into God’s plan on the reason He let us ran into certain circumstances, to be posed with difficult situations or to touch more lives especially those who need more love in this world. We learn in the process about the essential things in life and also discover more of ourselves and others.
A Steady Stream of Love
That their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love.
What is Christ like? He is characterized by love and forgiveness. An insightful person once said, “We are most like beasts when we kill. We are most like men when we judge. WE are most like God when we forgive.” …Every one of us can blame somebody for something that has happened in our lives. But don’t wast your time. What we need most is a steady stream of love flowing among us. Love that quickly forgives and willingly overlooks and refuses to take offense.
Some people are so easy to love that you just naturally fall into their arms. But others are so hard to love, you have to work overtime at it…Some are the opposite of magnets. They repel. Yet even they need our love, perhaps more than the others. How very important that we “stretch fervently” to love each other!
