Endurance

More patience is needed especially when you feel like you can’t go further, that you want to give up. I learned from my athlete classmates before about endurance in training and through training they gain endurance. It’s like climbing a mountain and you’re afraid you can’t make it, maybe you feel more confident as you go on; or it can also be that you’re on the go at first, but in the process lose faith in reaching the top. But the endurance increases with every step (even though the pain in your legs is killing you), but  you muster all your strength to continue (or else you’ll be stuck in the middle of the mountain), and finish the track you’ve started. In that moment, you’ll be encouraged by the splendid sight that awaits you. In the end, it’s all worth it.

Those…who suffer according to the will of God shall entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.

1 Peter 4:19

If you are a hard-working, faithful employee, diligent, honest, productive, prompt, caring, working for a boss who is belligerent, stubborn, short-sighted, and ungrateful, and if you patiently endure that situation–that finds favor with God…

When you endure, you put grace on display. And when you put grace on display for the glory of God, you could revolutionize your workplace or any other situation…

The purpose of the believer in society is to bring glory and honor to the name of Christ, not to be treated well or to have life be easy or even to be happy, as wonderful as all things are…

Why are these things happening to you? So that you might follow in the steps of our Lord Jesus, who suffered for us.
