Attitude

We have the capacity to choose how we will face the day, a situation or a person, it all lies in our attitude. Sometimes it’s still difficult to control, but our choice of attitude helps us to lighten our load, to feel at ease, and to disarm unnecessary locks that we bolt so tightly. It’s something that would keep us going no matter what happens, the barriers come down and we could breathe freely. And it is true, that our choice of attitude is something that we can DO change.

This may shock you, but I believe the single most significant decision I can make on a day-to-day basis is my choice of attitude. It is never important than my past, my education, my bankroll, my successes or failures, fame or pain, what other people think of me or say about me, my circumstances, or my position. Attitude…keeps me going or cripples my progress. It alone fuels my fire or assaults my hope. When my attitudes are right, there’s no barrier too high, no valley too deep, no dream too extreme, no challenge too great for me.

Yet, we must admit that we spend more of our time concentrating and fretting over the things that can’t be changed in life than we do giving attention to the one thing that can, our choice of attitude.

“He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but he who walks wisely will be delivered.” Proverbs 28:26
